Don't you love it when something unexpected happens? Who knew the beads and compact would look so good together. I'm keeping this necklace. When the compact arrived the pin holding it together fell apart as I opened it, not sure about the hinge. Well . . . . that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'll update later this week on the big hinge necklace. In the mean time have a great day!

this piece is great and your photography is beautiful... love how the patina is picked up in the beads...

What a beautiful, vintage piece. I can certainly understand why you're keeping this one! :-)

Oh, love this! It all works so well. Take care, Riki
That is a fantastic piece and I love your excuse ;)
Quick question, when i use old metal pieces with lots of rust, i try to clean it as best as I can to prevent it soiling the customer's skin and clothes, do you clean your pieces? or seal them? or do you just leave as is?
I clean with backing soda and vinegar.
