How did it turn out? zero sales. I should be in a funk, but I'm not. I had a great time. BOTH of my daughters where there to help. It's a rare occasion for us to have that much time together. I met several artist who suggested shows where my work would sell. Lots of compliments and encourgement.
And a swap. The young lady showing her ceramics didn't sell anything either, and she really wanted these earrings
and i really liked this vase.
You know the rest of the story.
I should have some updates on my found object projects soon.
Have a Great Day!!

Sorry to hear there were no sales but glad you got to hang out with your daughters.
Maybe the crowd there weren't adventurous enough to where your beautiful pieces.
Sorry that the sales were not forthcoming, but you are right not to be in a funk. You just have to find the right venue. I don't wonder that the ceramics girl really wanted those earrings - they are fantastic!
I feel your pain, been there too. Look at the experience as advertising, lots of people now know your work, it is all worth it. Your work is beautiful, don't take the experience personally if possible! Take care, Riki
i love those earrings too!
i too have had shows where i had no sales. with the right venue the sales will come.
Been there, done that! My last show I could count the sales on one hand. And I also made a trade with the potter in the booth next to me. I was just happy to have a good number of locals "get" my work!
Yours, by the way, is wonderful!
The shows I've done were few and far between. I wonder if one of the tricks is to become a show regular?
It's really hard to believe that of all that fabulous jewelry that no one bought anything.
I wholeheartedly agree with everyone that is saying that venue isn't right for you.
Anyway, your pieces are so awesome and I'm so shocked they didn't sell that I posted about it on my blog. I'm sure everyone that sees your work will be as much of a fan as I am. : )
Keep up the great work!!!

I hear you. There are some shows I wish I could make never have happened. It really is all about "showing" to your targeted niche.
Your earrings are beautiful!
Thanks for coming by! You're right, nothing like nature to sooth the soul. Take care, Riki
Brenda, Are those earrings made out of bullet shells? Do mind if I copy you? These are great. I tried to enamel bullet shells and made them into a bird house but the enamel wouldn't take. Riki's right about the advertising.
